Personal Information About Customers Does WebSpecs Gather?

The information we learn from customers helps us personalize and continually improve the quality of Hunter equipment. Here are the types of information we gather.

• Information You Give Us: We receive and store any information you enter while using WebSpecs. You can choose not to provide certain information, but then you might not be able to take advantage of many of our features. We use the information that you provide for such purposes as responding to your requests, customizing the web site for you, improving our equipment, and communicating with you. Examples of information that you may enter while using WebSpecs include your name and address, your email address and the vehicles that you select in the WebSpecs interface.
• Automatic Information: We receive and store certain types of information whenever you interact with us. For example, like many Web sites, we use "cookies," and we obtain certain types of information when your Web browser accesses WebSpecs. When using WebSpecs in conjunction with WinAlign software, your computer automatically sends certain WinAlign system information to our server. Examples of the information sent include: the version of WinAlign on your system, the electronic keys installed on your system, the spec database that you are using and the currently selected manufacturer and model of vehicle.
• Information Your Browser Provides: Your web browser also provides information that we collect and analyze, including the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet; computer and connection information such as browser type and version, operating system, and platform; the full Uniform Resource Locators (URL) to, through, and from our Web site, including date and time.

What About Cookies?

• Cookies are alphanumeric identifiers that we transfer to your computer's hard drive through your Web browser to enable our systems to recognize your browser and to provide personalized features.

Does Hunter Engineering Share the Information It Receives?

Information about our customers is an important part of our business, and we are not in the business of selling it to others. We share customer information only with authorized Hunter employees, representatives and distributors.

If you choose to use WebSpecs, your use of WebSpecs and any dispute over privacy is subject to this notice. If you have any concern about privacy at WebSpecs, please send a thorough description to webmaster@getspecs.com, and we will try to resolve it. Our business changes constantly. This notice will change also, and use of information that we gather now is subject to the Privacy Notice in effect at the time of use. This policy applies only to data collected online for WebSpecs.
